Instruments at Bethesda

Bethesda has a beautiful Cassavant pipe organ which provides a solid foundation for strong congregational singing. The organ also supports the choir and is frequently heard in combination with various solo instruments or chamber ensembles.

Our Baldwin grand piano is suited for both accompanyiment and solo music. It is regularly heard in worship and concerts.

Bethesda purchased a one-manual Dutch-style harpsichord in 2011. We love Baroque music and use the instrument both for the Bach cantatas on Reformation Sunday and for various services and programs featuring solo and chamber music.

We also have a grand piano in our fellowship hall and upright pianos in the chapel and choir room. Local choral groups and music teachers enjoy renting our spaces for teaching, rehearsals, and concerts. See our Building Use page for more information.
