Sanctuary

The SANCTUARY is a beautiful space with a Scandinavian feel: light woods, open and airy spaces, and high windows letting in light. The pews hold approximately 300 people. The sanctuary contains:

• grand piano (available for use with approval by our Music Director)
• two-manual pipe organ (available for use with approval by our Music Director)
• harpsichord (available for use with approval by our Music Director)
• sound system
• narthex area, suitable for receiving people
• raised chancel area around the altar

While the piano and organ are tuned on a schedule to suit the church's needs, a special tuning with our piano technician can be arranged through the Bethesda office with reasonable (at least 2 weeks) notice. The fee for tuning [$90] will be added to the room rental fee. Please sign the damage rider.

If you would like to hold a wedding or funeral at Bethesda, a consultation will be arranged with the Pastor.
